This morning we worked in the garden. The school’s compost bins needed maintenance. We also cleaned out the tool shed and garden shed. We harvested tomatoes and chard which we made into a delicious community lunch. In the afternoon we defined Biology and Ecology. We identified the basic principles of Biology and discussed the definition of life. We also talked about the different branches of Biology.   After explaining what Ecology explains, students chose different fields in Ecology to research (conservation and restoration, organismal, population, community, ecosystem).  We will end the day with a council meeting and French.  Have a great weekend!
