The day started with a math review using a website created by John McNamara, an adolescent teacher at Ruffing Montessori School in Cleveland, Ohio. Afterwards we finished our opt hand project. Josh and I finished early and had a mini-seminar on The Veldt by Ray Bradbury. After having an eventful lunch where Anthony almost got hit by a run away umbrella, we had a grammar workshop on active and passive voice. We edited each others papers which ended up becoming an ‘editing competition’ (apparently Josh thinks fresh should become fish). Afterwards we studied the Upper Paleolithic timeline and made nomenclature cards to go along with it. We are creating a dictionary for the Timeline of Humanity. We ended the day with a relaxing French class.
