It’s Friday on a Thursday! We started today with some Montessori math. We factored using a material called Algebra Tiles to help us visualize our math. It took us awhile to catch on, but once we understood how to use the Algebra Tiles factoring became easy as pie. After mastering the basics of factoring we started a grammar lesson. We learned how to find and avoid run-on sentences in our writing. We then wrote something very special. After lunch we focused our time planning our micro-economy projects and purchasing supplies for the talent show. We then unrolled the American history timeline and began labeling some of the events we were familiar with. We then had french and finished our day on a strong note.
