Dear family,

I write to you from the frontline. This morning the “Jenneral” gathered us together for a morning debriefing. I thought this mission would be easy… I was mistaken. I went straight to work planning our operations in D.C. We prepared the proper forms and organized them into one document. Once the plans were made we began the second task of the morning: learning the physics of our deployment vehicle, the roller coaster. It’s tough work, but I know it’s for a good cause. Afterwards, Sgt.  Anthony and I walked into the training field and watched the troops play basketball. We spent our afternoon learning about the ethics of the workplace… never leave a soldier behind. We completed the day with our mandatory French training.
