Bike Trip Fun

Our first day on the Katy Trail was a success. We have settled in at the Hermann City Park and look forward to a warmer day of riding tomorrow. Here’s a few of the moments from our day.

Stream Team

Bob Virag, a local resident and member of the Missouri Stream Team, visited our school and took us to the creek running along our property. We had a great time investigating the physical and biological characteristics of Creve Coeur Creek.

Springtime!

The toddlers are out and it’s time to get the garden ready for cool season plants. We have taken advantage of the change in the weather and are continuing the good work.

The training program for our overnight bike trip is progressing quite well. We rode from Creve Coeur lake to the Katy Trail and back yesterday. We spotted a Barred Owl right next the trail and the boys took the opportunity to test their scrambling abilities on the steep trail from the lake. Our ride was 16 miles and full of smiles.
